In 2015 the Ohio Handball Association began recognizing individuals for their outstanding contribution to Handball in Ohio.  


Recipients:

2015:
Ray Mayo: In recognition of his many years of service to Ohio Handball, March 21, 2015.
Steve Dykes: In recognition of his many years of service to the State of Ohio Handball Tournament, March 21, 2015.


2016:
George Miller Jr.: Lifetime Achievement Award: In recognition of his extraordinary dedication and contribution to Handball in the state of Ohio over many decades of service and play at an extraordinary level, March 19, 2016

2017:
Art Haffner: In recognition of his contributions to supporting Handball in the state of Ohio, March 11, 2017


2018:
John Friedrich: In recognition of his dedicated leadership as Director of the Mid-America Regional 4-Wall Handball Championship and his tireless efforts to promote the sport of Handball, March 24, 2018

2022:
Paul and Beth Baker: In recognition of their immeasurable contributions and dedication to the sport and the community of handball in Ohio; April 2, 2022.  Paul was a longtime player, then Beth and he bought the Waycross Club where they hosted many local and national tournaments over its 19 years of operation.  

2023:
Michael Brouman and Paul Johnson: each recognized for their many years of outstanding dedicated volunteer service to the Ohio handball commuity in service of administering the Ohio State Handball Championship and Mid-America Regional handball tournaments.
